Software?

Would anyone know of a program, that when it hear a song played, will show the music notation of that song? what I would like to do is plug a disc, or cassette tape into my PC, and get the Notation of the song, then print the page for it. Thanks in advance...

ha... that would be wonderful!

i guess it would be possible for maby a piano solo or something of the sort, but not a chance when it comes to any rock group or anything of that sort.
theres way to much going on for a program to single out one insturment. i may be wrong tho, i would love to find something like this! im afraid its probibly not possible tho.

If it was one instrument playing by itself one note at a time (no chords).... maybe.

But anything else is pure TV and movie fantasy.

Computer aren't magic (yet).
