I like Audacity but I don't think there's a dedicated thread on this forum for them (I know they have their own). I really, really like the simplicity of Audacity but would like to know if anyone has found a software that has a similar learning curve (ie, not overly-complicated) but one with a little better features? It doesn't have to be freeware, btw.

Oh yeah - why didn't I think of that! I think I have the trial version on my computer and, you're right...I do remember it being pretty user-friendly. Thanks, I'll check it out again.

I checked out the Reaper demo version over the weekend and was pretty blown away with the ease of recording along with the intuitive/logical interface layout. I'll be doing more with this program. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have an old version of SONAR (2)

I love it. I also have SONAR 7, but always go back to #2 because of its simplicity.

Got it for $100 on Ebay.
