Hey y'all do I need to buy software for making my own demo?? Right now all I have is a sound recorder that doesn't do much of anything. Do you have any suggestions? I have Windows XP.

Thanks

nope, you can just click on the link at the top of the page and give blue bear a call. much quicker to get a deno that way

n-track is pretty good, cheap, and has it's own forum here. You may want to check that out.

Thanks everybody. I'm new to all of this. I've been singing for my self and everyone else for so long I've been trying to find out what I need for a demo and y'all are pointing me in the direction I needed. Thanks.

Sarah :D

well if you want to seriously make a demo, there is more to it than just the software.

You are a vocalist, is that all you want in the demo, no instruments?
What recording gear do you have? you will need at least a decent mic and a decent soundcard for your computer.
What kind of computer do you have?

I think if you answer that, we can give you an idea of what you will ned and how to go about it.

gooo luck on your project. ;)

I don't know what kind of sound card I have but I have Windows XP I'm buying a mic and then whatever else I need to go about it. I'm a vocalist and there won't be any instruments. Unless I can get my dad to do some but I doubt I'll use instruments.

It would definitely help if you could buy software...

Cool Edit (now Adobe Audition) versions are probably simple enough to get a basic demo out.

They yet to compare to this. It's so under rated. Check it out.
