I've been using N-track for a while, and i've had this problem where, every once in a while, it'll freeze, and go to the dreaded "not responding" and it won't ever come back, andi can't even get my computer to go off, i have to unplug it. I've emailed support, and all they've said is to update my drivers for sound/video card.

I have an Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 video card, and I use a line 6 toneport ux2 for recording. But my built in soundcard is a sigmatel. I've tried to update all the drivers, but it says that i have the best driver for my hardware, and i still have this problem.

I downloaded the sonar 4 home demo, and i played with that for a while with no problems. so whatever the problem is, it's between my computer and n-track. I used n-track on my old computer for about a year. Now with this new one, it's having this problem. If someone can help please do!

you may not like it but the truth is alotta times it is the drivers that prevent things from working right....ive been fighting mine for some time and dont have the dough to implement the real solution...... and the worst of them are by far the onboard soundcards with generic drivers.... so the best thing for you at this point is to buy a soundcard/interface.... take some time.... make sure that this is the software you want first then search for recomendations for suitability with the rest of your stuff.... good luck....

Try the Asio4All driver for your built-in card. But really... Use the toneport for all your in/out sound, and forget about the built-in...

i do use the toneport for everything, i don't use the built in at all. I just listed it, in case someone knew of some sort of problem between the 2 of them.

The toneport has asio drivers, which i use, but i still have the problem.
