softsynths

was wondering about the plethora of softsynths...just got fruityloops with it's synth demo. they say their synth(live) gives a "phat" sound. i'm into darkwave or a kind of black industrial metal so this might be good....what would be some key words to look for when choosing some more softsynths for this type of stuff?

That type of keywords are just marketing bullshit. You need to listen to it. All suppliers will give you demos or sound samples.
