Soft case for Tascam DP-008?

Hi folks,

I've been learning a lot from your collective wisdom since joining this forum. This is my very first post and I apologize for it being a question.

Can anyone suggest a nice soft case for a Tascam DP-008 Pocketstudio? I'm just looking for something, probably in cordura nylon, about 5" x 9", that will protect my new toy from bumps and bruises when it leaves my desk.

I love his work, he's resonably priced, and he's made several other equipment bags for me in the past. I just got a DP-008 in the last month and was searching the NET for something already made, and after seeing your post decided to call Mark Tuttle and have him make me one. I was thinking about a 3 compartment bag: one for the recording unit, with a pouch on either side for the 1) signal wires, and 2)the power supply unit.

I've got the AmazonBasics Universal Travel Case for Small Electronics and Accessories ... from Amazon.com ... and it fits the Tascam DP-008 like a glove. The cost is $12.63 (and is eligible for free shipping on orders over $25).
 
That Amazon case has come down since I bought my DP-008. I ended up going to the Goodwill and buying a similar size case for $2.00 and cutting some stiff foam to fit around the unit inside the case--a little hot glue and "viola".
