I believe them all to be the same mobo.!

Ie the Asus A7M266. I have this mobo for music and it works great, especially if u get the latest bios upgrade 1007. However the board is now over a year old and has been superceded by other more recent mobos. It is a 266MHz FSB DDR memory mobo that can take Athlon XP processors beyond 2 GHz (only with latest bios). The onboard sound should normally be disabled.

Thanks, I notice some say 5 USB and one says 4 USB, what's the significance?

No its only 4 USB thats a typo I think. You can easily add more USB ports afterwards with either a hub or another PCI card.

To confuse matters further....
After saying it was 4 USBs I looked on the Asus website and it says it has 6 USB ports! Well mine definitely only has 4!

?
When I go to the A7M266 section, it says 4.
You're sure you're looking at the right pages?

Doesn't matter anymore............ it gets here next week and I'm determined not to feel buyers remorse unless it's defective.

But just for the sake of confusion, what's so good(or bad) about more usb ports?

I'm using the digi001 and we're supposed to disable that stuff anyway.

4 USB is fine don't worry! The latest USB 2.0 (which is much faster) is not implemented on this board. But you can upgrade via a pci board later if need be.
