So what is UP with this site?

Drstawl is right. For those of us stupid enough to call this place home, and I count myself amongst them, we have to get this back on the road. It may even save me from getting banned!!

I'll produce two projects this summer, then, one of myself and one of a group of friends I'm doing stuff with. The best track will be submitted. It'll be crap ... but it's time to reprazent!

Plus ... I'd never be good enough for the RP disc ... :)

That's kind of a downer there... :(

It's the same people who hang out in here, isn't it? What's the difference? I have an account over there, but I don't like the way their boards are set up, so I've only been there twice. I haven't seen or heard anything on the RP cd...
 
It's not that they wouldn't let me on ... it's just that there's some really REALLY talented people over there. :)

I thought a lot of people from here were there too. How many with dual membership contributed to the RP disc?
 
That's just it. Pretty much all. All the talented people left to form their own site because they were sick of the unmoderated disgrace of members like 'you know who'. Twas the end of an era ... and I was just getting settled in as they all left! :)

Hmmm. I don't know how to fix that. I can't get used to the RP interface, but that's just me. I guess if I spent as much time on there as I did here, that would change. But even my time here is drawing closer to the end. I got a reprieve from the wife to keep my hobby going and time to stalk the board, but that will be gone probably by mid-month...
 
Dude, just do what you do. It's all good. There's no reason we couldn't get a community of musicians going here ... just it mostly seems like a community of chatterboxes at the moment, myself included!! Anyone failing to post an MP3 up for two months should be sent away, or something.

There have been quite a few collabs happening as of late... I guess that's a good sign...
 
Definitely! As I keep saying ... joining in will happen once my PC is happily set up ... coursework over in three weeks and then I'm back on it!! :)
