I dunno how many of you listened to a Christian song I wrote, "Look Upstairs (Somehow)"... I am a bit of a n00b but some of the commments were to make it less dry, to compress it and to redo the vocals (which I am saving to last).

I wanted to add more life in so I placed the guitar twice and put one slightly offset, but I am really unsure on how it sounds. Your opinions are appreciated.

I don't know what's going on with the guitar... Is it a nylon string?

The two guitar parts aren't synching up very well and for me that's distracting. I appreciate where you're going with this - it's very personal and tentative. But I think that those qualities are best expressed with your vocal delivery and not with the guitar. It needs to be a little more steady.

Retrack it. You're doing good work for a "noob".

Comparing this to my memory a different but similar piece I heard you do a couple of weeks ago, the guitar tone seems stronger and clearer.

The doubled gtr parts are getting in each others' way IMO. Is it the same part copied and delayed? Might sound better with less delay, maybe around 20-40 ms. Probably though will sound better without being doubled. I like the 2nd gtr part playing the single notes on the beats - you're getting a good sound with that. Arrangement wise, you could do a lot with that idea that'd give the piece variety in the accompaniment - staying with the quarter note pulse idea and doing simple countermelodies, more varied repeating figures, different pitch ranges, etc.
