I have no originals ready to record after a little bit of a good run, so I learned this tune this afternoon and recorded it. Might have to re-do the vocals because I went back and heard the original after and noticed he sings it alot growlier (if that's a word)...Anyway, I've always loved this tune and hope I do it some justice. I love Alice Cooper.

Yeah, I agree...I might have to wait until Friday night and get some whiskey into me. No, but seriously, I sang it too "proper", I now realise.
 
Way better than what? Your tunes that you just posted?...No, you can't compare a cover with originals. Anyone could do what I just did and copy a song...Your stuff is a creation, what making music is really all about. Can't compare the 2. You should be proud of what you did, it's damn good.
 
Very true to the original, Rami. Nice sounds, and well done. Sounds like a kick-ass bar band, just having fun jamming. Very natural feel to it. Sweet tunes.

This kicks man...growing up and living here in the Detroit area,Alice was a huge influence musically !You do a great job on this,love the scream when you take it up a notch for the last verse!Evreything sounds great to my ears.....Would love to hear you do Billion Dollar Babies!
 
I saw Alice a couple of months ago, and he did this tune. I like your version alot, Rami. Very tight! Also it's nice to hear someone actually use a fadeout at the end of a song.
 
Thanx alot Variax...Yeah, Alice was a huge influence on me, too. To the point where I'd say that I probably wouldn't be playing music if I didn't hear "BDB" when it first came out. Thanx for the comments.

Mad, it's funny you say that, because I spent alot of time thinking of an ending. I always like to do my tunes in a way that they can be re-produced live, so I don't fade many (or any) of my tunes. I downloaded a live version of this tune by Alice with Axl Rose, but didn't like how they ended it, so I went with the long fade out. I think it suits the tune. Thanx alot.

Anyway, the cover rocks!! SOunds like you had a ton of fun and it's a blast to listen to. I'm all for you getting drunk and redoing those vocals too, I think that'd work out even better :p

I heard some certain high rep as*sholes are on vacation till the end of Nov. and playing Highway star live with filipino cover bands. SOunds like a blast man!!! :)

why thank you but that is not my band

my band is blues rock and roll with some rockabilly, surf, classic rock, and 20s blues

well we just got this new singer and he's pretty good so we are gonna do some sort of a proggressive thing and do some mars volta covers or something

I dont think we will be able to pull off the mars too well but what the hell
