Just another guy, really.
Hmmm, what's it missing?
I dunno, maybe musicality?

It lacks a lead guitar player?![]()
I've no idea what the hell that is, but I want one
It's a fair cop
You see through me like a window
Just tell me... I'll stop
And go fishing with minnows
OK you write the rest.

I haven't read any of the comments, so my apologies if I state the over-stated.
Guitars seem to bleed into one another... There's gotta be some way to get em' separated. Drums seem a bit over-compressed for the whole "indie" vibe you've got going on, although I really like the feel of the overall tune. Perhaps just raise the guitar level to get em' to pop more?
I'm available. (For a small fee, of course.)
You don't WANT one. You NEED one. We all do. Our souls are crying out for chromatic harmonicas with bendy knobs. Trust me.
I love the snotty garage groove. The sound of the recording got to me in a really good way.
What's missing is a feature vocal punched out by a tatted punk babe during the times when the center feature guitar should be takin' five.
Real good recording. Needs some arranging and additional featureto keep from getting boring.
I used a room mic on the drums for the first time on this one and compressed the bejesus out of it. But I quite like the added excitement it brings. Well, it's all relative of course
I ripped the riff off Custard Pie. Jimmy won't be pleased
I enjoyed listening to you on the drums..can always count on your energetic BOOM sound. Love it.Indeed, spot on.
No, my new toy is actually one of those Line 6 Toneport usb interface/cab & amp emulator thingies. I got it to use on my laptop when I go away, means I can take a guitar along too and do a bit of recording if the mood strikes. I'm really impressed with the drivers, there's no detectable latency at all.
I guess the fact that no-one picked the guitar sounds as being all DI & software means it sounds reasonably genuine. But if anyone uses one of these or similar and has any mixing tips, be great to hear them
I had one of those once..until someone stole it along with my Marine Band harp and Blues harp collection. You don't WANT one. You NEED one. We all do. Our souls are crying out for chromatic harmonicas with bendy knobs. Trust me.
Hey, I've listened to this a bunch of times but didn't reply as I couldn't come up with anything clever to say
Anyway, I like this a lot. The riffs and the drums sound great. The lead guitar part seemed a bit random at times, but it works in a chaotic kind of way.
It's funny that this is the first time you've used a room mic as the drums sound very much like your other drums to me (= great). I have thought about doing exactly that to my drums, but am in a garage, so will have to see if, with the bejesus comp'd out of it, it adds anything as it does here. May I ask what kind of room you're tracking the drums in? I've always been curious about how you get that sound. Thanks!
Fuck, I thought that was pretty awesome. I love the rambunctious opening drum pattern. For a split second there in the intro I thought to myself "this is like some old school Cramps" but then the guitars kicked in and it reminded me of old Husker Du or some old skate punk from the early 80's. Love it. Keep developing this into something.
Guitars sounded pretty fine to me.
I got that right away from the title and the guitar tone, (which I love BTW)
I dont think anyone will pick it up as a take off though, groove is very different.
Interested to hear when it is finished, good work.
.
As far as the lead guit goes, it sorta freaked me out as I actually have a recording of myself that sounds a lot like that!
