So I got a new guitar...

..Its a Gibson Firebird Studio..and it is a beast!Alot different from my other guitars..(been mostly a Strat man my whole life).It really brings out the riffing in me ...I thought I would share my 1st recording with it...nothing special just a wanking type thing ...The "song" is called Slab.I am going to link to the online streaming player as it seems it's been hard to download tunes from Soundclick lately...hope it works.

Zepplin-esque riff man...nice.....Got a pretty heavy sound...I like it.....very good tone. Cool start to a tune man.... ;)

Great sound, I kinda get a Sabbath feel from the guitar :)

Sweet man!!!! There's nothing like getting a new guitar. The thing sounds thick and heavy, very cool, nice riffing too, just a straight killer rock sound to that thing :D Cool pics too

Yea It's been a couple of years since I have had a new guitar so it feels real cool!Should work out well for the kinda music I will be playing in my band!

Thanks for checking it out, let me know what you think of the sound.
 
Now thats a song! The drum are a bit roomy with reverb for me, I'd try compressing them just a little bit. Nice mix man, great playing.

Wow...thanks dude!Not sure what I'm gonna do with this...just kinda a jam thing for my new guitar,but I may try and develop it more and add some lyrics/vocals.gonna back down on the drum verb as it sounds too roomy to me as well.
