After I moved up the key 5 steps, the song came to life, so I re-recorded it :)
I hope, you'll like it.
I used Reaper as my DAW, drums are multitrack drum loops, the rest is me ( all vocals and guitars etc..)

 
5 whole steps? o_O or 5 half steps?

This is a pretty solid mix. I can't really critique properly on the cheap headphones I'm using.
One thing that sticks out though is that the high hat seems much brighter than the rest of the drum kit. When it comes in halfway through the verse, it's a bit overpowering.
The guitar solo may be a bit too up-front too. It sounds like the lead guitarist suddenly ran up and started playing directly in my face!

Lead guitar and vocals have always been my weakness in mixing.
Hihat should be easy to fix as it is in a separate track.
You're right I should have made it clearer, I meant 5 half steps, from D to G.
