PC load letter?
Is it common to use a mono reverb on a snare drum, or is there a specific setting that might effect the width of a reverb?
I reealize im working with relatively poor plugins compared to the outboard units they might have in big studios, but a problem i always have with snare drum reverb is that the snare drum sounds way to wide. I've noticed specifically with coldplay, the snare drum is open and loose sounding, loose being more of the drum itself, yet very focused and centered in the mix.
I realize the wet/dry mix will make the sound more mono, or more like the original, but i want the reverb, just focused, i guess you could call it
