Hey. I recently moved into a two bedroom and I'd like to treat my studio room/mixing room a little bit.


Is this a decent placement for 10 24x36x2 mineral wool panels?

So basically, I should be putting as much panels as possible around my room. Wouldn't it make a dead room?

simply treating all your corners isn't going to make it a dead room.

Even trapping all the corners, and then putting absorbers at your reflection points and putting a cloud up, you would still not cover half of your overall surface area in the room. Which is what you want, a controlled environment. Not dead or too lively.

There nothing wrong with a dead room. Small room ambience always sounds bad, so it's best to reduce it enough to not be audible.
