Nice chill song. I really like the use of the iii minor chord (leading to the V chord) during the second part of the verse (I guess that's what you'd call it?). That was a nice unexpected-yet-pleasant move there. The lyrics are nice and slightly ambiguous, which allows for others to bring their own meaning to the song. This works nicely in a song like this, as too much specific information could weaken the track's dreamy aesthetic, IMO. I enjoyed this one; thanks for sharing! 🙂

Thanks, beagle! You always catch those types of things and provide insightful feedback. Very good ear!

I didn’t. I don’t like tuning vocals and would rather have imperfections than tune. :/
There is something going on with the Vocals then - did you double tracks them?

I liked the feel, the space and the voice on this one. Try a bit less verb on the vocal and see what it sounds like.

I'm inspired to get out some tremolo guitar and do something. (y)

I really like the vibe of this tune. I used to listen to Jeremy Eignk (of SDRE fame) for years and this has that same kinda vibe. Overall I loved the song, maybe I would have liked to hear something a bit more interesting during that instrumental break that starts around 1:51 or so. It's a chill tune though, so I get the choice. Goooood work!

Thanks a ton. It’s probably just a demo, so I can add something there. I had the same thought actually; I just didn’t have a part yet when I was ready to record.

30 seconds in and this is really good. Your descriptions on YouTube are apt. That famous Mazzy Star song came to mind. But also, with your drawling vocal delivery (not an insult), very reminiscent of The Go Betweens. Heavenly, heartbreaking, music to open a vein to!
