Slow response when selecting tracks

I have recently changed to vista from XP and have found that when I try to select a track, MIDI or Audio, it freezes and takes a few seconds to respond. The same happens if I try to re-order my tracks up or down.

I never had this problem with XP and 1Gb of memory but now I have Vista and 3Gb this seems slow to the point of seriously affecting on the fly adjustments. Please help.

There might be an answer to your problem there, I know XP to Vista can be a problem for a lot of Programmes. :S

Vista is much poorer for recording than XP.

However you can tweak Vista for recording.
