I was reading up on the differences between the Motif ES Rack and Motif ES Keyboard, and it said it has no sliders. .What do the sliders on the keyboard control?

Lot's, anyways I use the sliders on my organ sounds and Sounds where my Piano and Strings are together I can make either sound stronger or weaker. I'm sure someone else will chime in and explain this better. :)

I believe they are programmable to be used for a variety of functions.

A lot of modules, are stripped of their realtime controls. I think the manufacturers assume that people primarily use them in the studio, and don't necassarily need realtime control, or that they are stuffing racks for live use via dedicated controllers, which feature their own realtime controllers. Bummer for those who wan't all the original controls as they appeared on their keyed counterparts.

so its really to control volume? Can I use the sliders on say a Triton Keyboard to control a Fantom or Motif rack?
