hey ive been looking around for a slick and smooth guitar strap for awhile for my bass so itd make it real easy to spin my bass and such but ive no luck so far (the strap i have now is really really grippy).

does anyone know of any straps that might fulfill my criteria? Or any tips/info on spinning guitars/basses in general? ;)

thanks

Don't do it.
Musicians need to start putting the music first. Once you get famous and people care, then you can spin all you want.

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it might incriminate me.

OK.....what you want is a DiMarzio ClipLock strap.

Yes.... I'm a child of the '80's.

the obvious choice

having come from that era (although avoiding the image completely--I was a thrasher...) those guys used to make their guitar straps out of car seatbelts. But I have a Gibson strap (with the lightning bolt) that appears to be made of very similar material...should slide easily for you.

and of course, go watch some old Cinderella videos for training...

Back in the 80s, we used safety belt material from cars...
(I come from the Cinderella, Dead End Kids, Britney Fox era...)

We actually took safely belts and attached starp locks (THESE ARE CRITICAL!!!!)

Good luck, be carefull, have fun!!!! :D :D

I had a strap with a zebra pattern and this slick leather grain plastic/vinyl backing. It was pretty slippery. I used 2" wood screws and washers to attach it to my guitar.
