Hey Guys,

I was working on a Rock song, the plan was that my bro would play the drums and then we'll put up some vocals if it's all recorded well.
I would like to ask you guys if you got some comments on the mix and concept. All critique is welcome!

I'd try to find a way to make that kick slam harder. When the guitars are distorted, it just doesn't attack like it should. I feel like the drums get burried when the guitars are distorted.

The guitars feel a bit too wide. It might feel less so if vocals were in the middle, but with no vocals, there is almost nothing in the center of the mix.

I love the arrangement. very cool sounding. I'll shed a tear if the vocals sound like cookie monster.

Nice tune, John!
Very good arrangement and a nice tempo. Is it meant to be this short or is this just a sample of it? The heavy guitars sound pretty good, they seem a bit too far though, I would bring them closer so they'll really pound. Thy're nicely blended in with the bass. How many git tracks did you record? Pretty good work!

Hey tnx joeym!
For now I'll leave the length as it is but it could be changed later on.
About the guitar tracks, for the chorus I used 3 guitar tracks, 65% Left, 65% Right and 35% Right. The rest was 2 guitars(L65/R65).
I still struggle with getting a good powerful guitar tone especially in the metal-like breakdown part, I'll definitely try panning them more to the center, tnx for the tip!
