Hey everyone. Our band really needs a singer bad. I know there is a slim chance that our requirements will be met by someone on this board but oh well, here goes.

Singer must have a good range of voice and wanting to sing alternative/rock songs(i.e. nirvana, incubus, etc.)

Songwriting skills are a plus.

Singer must live in Des Moines, Iowa or in one of the surrouding suburbs.

Singer must be between 14-16 years old.

Please feel free to reply or e-mail me at Drummerdoug14@msn.com

School's almost in, dude.
You won't find too many HS kids or college kids for that matter hanging out on the board. Don't know about Des Moines. You're gonna get stuck with old guys like me, monty, dtb, et all around here. :D

Jittering Jim since u don't meet any of my standards and ur old please don't reply to my posts that do not concern you...thanks that would be greeeeeeaaaatttttttttt!!!

Heh Heh... well... just funnin' with you a bit, but now my feelings are hurt... as I don't meet any of your standards. Perhaps criteria would be a more appropriate word in this situation?

Ahh, to be young again. :D

Ooops, hit the reply button in the wrong thread again, dang. :D

I can sing.

Let me put my teeth in the cup and set my cane down and I'll give it a go.

Sorry, not my type of music. Good luck though.

Like the sign read:

"Hire A Youth Today, While They Still Know Everything"

Some old geezer told me back in the mid 1960s that he'd forgotten more than I'd ever learned.
Yeah, to be young again, brash, determined, ignorant.

Naaa. It didn't get me anywhere. :)

Actually, irrelavant posts like this keep your thread near the top! That's good!

And have you tried advertising in the local music stores and local paper? Might have better luck finding someone local that way.

Good luck!
Chris
