I need some advice if anyone out there has this same issue.
I use cakewalk pro audio 9 on an IBM machine.
Record one audio track eg rythm guitar. no problem. When i come to record in another track lead guitar, extraneous noise seems to have creeped in, almost like static with the guitar sound recorded.
Simultaneous record and playback is ticked, but if it is unticked the problem is solved but only have the metronome to play to = no good for anyone.
Any help gratefully received.
