i was messing around the other night, and came up with this simple riff, a simple bass line, some simple synthy-ish fun, and then put down this nice simple drum thing, and came up with this song

a lot of it is just improvising and letting alsihad capture it as i went along. a little light mixing, some tweaking of a few knobs here and there... and just like that, a thing!

so, if you feel so compelled, listen, write. us attention-starved musicians do like the feedback, even if it is to say "err, um, yeah, that was not very good at all, nice try though"

Hi dude,

Think the idea struggles to fill 6 minutes to be honest, without vocals or considerable variations, it gets a little repetitive after about 2 minutes.

Guitars are quite big, but lack a bit of clarity and would probably benefit a sweeter tone, although it could just be the sound you were aiming for.

There probably is a good idea in there, but would be better streamlined into a shorter peice with more variation.

cheers

Jim

heh, yeah. i just re-did something with it, and chopped its time by 2/3rds. you are absolutely right.

and yes, i was going for the kind of washed out not-quite-fuzz but not quite distorted sound.

oh well.
