simple trimming audio question :)

hopefully this'll be an easy one for someone,


basically,,i've recorded audio,,and have to give someone the session...

i have trimmed unwanted audio from the beginning and the end,,,but this is recoverable by extending the region again with the trimmer tool..

i want to 'destructively trim' my audio so that its a new whole file,,,rather than part of a whole file..


is there an easy way to do this? or would i have to bounce all the trimmed tracks and re import? <moans>

select the regions and then do a consolidate selection (should be in your Edit menu I think?)
Alt+Shift+3 on the PC
(Option Shift 3 on Mac I think)
