Hi Guys! I´m about to start mounting my studio... so far, Firepod (with Cubase or Sonar3), 2 NT1s, SM57, D112 and a Pod2.0...
I´m thinking about get a pair of Behringer racks or spend the money in plug ins... (Compressors mainly)... What do u think? Any idea of wich is the best way to get the best of this mics?
Thanks!

Depends on what you are recording. I'd go with one outboard compresser and some plugins but i'm only recording 1 mic the rest are DI into the soundcard.

General thought of the board Behringer anything except a patchbay = Bad. RNC = Good start out compressor.

To get the best sound from your mics use a preamp.

Best i can do

Thanks bigwillz24! I´m a drummer, so i´ll record mostly drums... (btw, i still have to decide wich mics buy for toms), but i wanna be able to record reheaseals...
In fact, i don´t know whats the best investment i can do... I have a custom made guitar amp on the way, so i´m wondering which effect/rack -or plugin- can help to improve my sound...
Thanks!
