Here's a decent one for ya. This is a very mellow, Tool inspired track. Although the song id mellow, it picks up near the end. And yes, those are synth drums. Please check it out and tell mw what you think of it.

Interlude

Thanks.

good one!
i like the structure of this song a lot. i would give it a minute more though, now it seems to end halfway through the deed, if you know what i mean. sudden silence as i was just starting to bang my head.

B+, easily turned in to an A.

Hey STAT1STICK,

The guitars levels need to be more consistent, the main section you are playing goes really quiet in some sections.
I liked the guitar that comes in at 1:50 and then when it all starts picking up!

I would like to hear the finished product!

Very TOOLish!

Cheers for sharing!

Gorty :)

Thanks for your replies.

About the inconsistent levels: What do you suggest I do? I really don't want to record them all over again and I don't think a compressor would come out right. Shit... I may just have to record it all over again. But if I do, I might lose the feel of the original. I hate it when that happens. I hate it when songs sound forced.

I would like there to be more length to the heavy part. I think that if I shorten the mellow part, it could come out nicely. I don't want the song to be too long. It's just supposed to be a spacer between songs... Maybe even a lead-in to another song.

I'll consider my options and keep you posted on any progress.

Again, thanks.
