I bought one of these silver creek solid wood guitars just after christmas. I bought the D160. Not associated with MF or anything, but I like mine quite a bit. Definitely beats my laminates.
Nice full dreadnought sound. It's the first time anybody has told me that my voice was being overpowered by the sound of the guitar. Anyway, I don't have any real experience with the big name expensive guitars. I just thought I would mention these and see if anyone has had experience with them. They are at a great price right now, because they've gone on sale and include a FREE CASE: solid rosewood back and sides for 299, solid mahogany for 249.
