some parts of this (the recording)i really like, some i'm not so happy with
but the song over all i like.

the song is "silent spirit" classic rock
just click my sig, it's the song at the top
warning: nearly 8 min.

thanks for the input.

Hey giraffe, I like this alot! Mellow stuff with some flowing acoustics.

I like at around 5:40 the change that takes place. Progressive kick butt sounds. I like progressive. Cool.

And I like the tone the lead takes right at the end. Maybe put that somewhere in the beginning and midway too.

Great song, 'raffe. I'm floored. This is very stoney stuff. Incanus will dig it.

It's reminiscent of early Floyd. Excellent stuff. Please let me know where I can get this stuff.

Some of the atmospheres remind me of Beck's "Sea Change".

I love that album.

Good voice.

Nice work.

Nice guitar tone. Very nice voice. Man, is that you? Sweet. Very well recorded. Everything is pretty damn clear. Cool song overall, but nice voice.

Good job on recording the ac gtr and vocal. At 1:41 and 4:11 the accents of the cymbal are maybe a little too hot/bright. I like the tone and effects on the elec gtr at the ending phrase.

Tim

I really like the vocals and the voicings that your using.

What are you using to record the vocals?

Good Stuff. You picked the right genre, definitely has the classic rock feel to it. Really good vocals. I felt maybe the lead guitar could have been played a little smoother. But perhaps the character of the playing would work better on repeated listens when your expecting it. Once your anticipating the parts so to speak. Nicely done.
