Ok so I am the drummer in my band and we're doing some home recordings on a budget. I have 2 behringer Xenyx mixers right now. I originally planned on getting the Line 6 Ux1 for guitar, bass, and vocals. Then using the mixers for recording drums. I have all the mics and stuff so thats not really in my overall question. My main question has to do with signal processors. I am looking at a Behringer FBQ800 9-band Equalizer and a BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer. I need help with deciding which will assist me most in getting the best sound i can. Or anything for that matter that will help me thats not overly priced because like i said im on a budget. I have somewhat of a clue about recording but not enough to know whats best when getting into signal processors. Any advice will be greatly Appreciated!

(Oh my goodness...)

I'd just try the search function. You won't find much love for those units. They're hardly suitable for live use (only under the absolute worst conditions) and really have no place in recording.

You don't get good sound from signal processors - You get good sound by capturing good sound well.

The 3 most important things are (in order of importance) 1) the monitoring chain 2) the monitoring chain and 3) the monitoring chain. After that, it's all about the front end. The right mic and the right preamp in front of the right core sound and the listening skill to know it.

alright thanks. do u still recommend the Ux1? or would micing the guitar cab be better? if so wut mic would you recommend for micing a guitar cab
