signal on screen, but no sound

I have an AKG c100s hooked up to a behringer mixer with phantom power on, which I then have running right into a Powerbook G4 audio line in. I have done this before and had been able to listen to the other tracks while recording a new one, and having a signal of the recorded material in the headphones.

Now I am getting no sound in the headphones (which are running out of the computer), but the levels peak on the screen meter as well on the mixer.

Could I have adjusted some settings in the computer since that last time I did this?

Open up the windows mixer (that speaker icon in the corner) and make sure the mic input is up in the Recording Properties and that WAV is up on the Playback Properties.
 
windows mixer?

On a mac? I think I'm missing something. I Am running os X.2
