Sidechain???

What exaclty is it?
Like my compressor has left and right In and out then one 1/4 inch "Sidechain"

How is that used ---- (For aux send on a mixer?)

I'm not sure what compressor you have, but if you scroll to the bottom of this link, you'll find an explanation of a couple of uses for the sidechain on the RNC.

Very basically, the side-chain triggers the compressor using a different signal.

Run music through the compressor, mult a vocal to the sidechain, the compressor ducks the music down during vocals.
