Ok so, currently i am using my shure super 55 to record, and i must say, i am quite pleased with the sound. However, I am looking at purchasing an MXl v63m studio condenser. So i was just wondering, should i purchase the MXL (being that it is only like $60) or just stick with my Shure and save my money?

Much love, Drew

None of the above. Spend $99 and buy a V67G.-Richie

^^^^^dido for what Richard has suggested. It's a great microphone and if you end up getting it modified it will be even better.
I found it for $88. just look around.

Or you could invest in a better preamp depending on what you use now... I think that the V67G is a great mic and it was the first one that really made my voice sound decent in studio... I love mine and have no plans of selling it!
