Hey,
I've just registered on this forum, and pretty much only to ask a very simple question. But before I do, let me explain the matter:
I've recently bought a Shure SM58S (SM58 with an ON/OFF switch) from an unauthorized Shure dealer. Having seen countless guides how to recognize a counterfeit, I almost came to the conclusion the one I got is an original indeed. There is, however, one thing that made me hesitate.
I've compared features like font, dimensions, presence of mesh beneath the metal grill, labels above pins in the connector, box content and even wires colors - they all are, according to the guides I've read and seen, proof of the mic's originality.
However, the thing that seems to be out of place is a caution sticker beneath the windshield. My question is as follows:
Is it possible for Shure SM58S to have the caution sticker on it?
I may provide you with all information, and even pictures if needed. I'll be more than grateful for any help on the matter.
