I Recently Bought A New Sm58 Mic ! Its Very Lite And With A 2 Yr. Warranty Too! But Looks Very Differnnt From Other Shure Sm58 Mics! Do U Think The Mic Is Fake Or .......... Even One Of The Xlr Male Pins Below The Mic Is Not Properly Placed!
Someone Pls Suggest Me How To Find Out Wheather My Mic Is Genuine Or Faaaakeee!

Yea it probably is. I mean it sounds like you have a real one to compare it to. I bought some fake shures. luckily they were pretty cheap and the 58 knock off sounds pretty nice, so it I don,t feel so bad. The thing that concerns me about it though is that I see the same mices being resold for full price on e-bay. I think that they are being sold by people that got ripped off origanily by the same outfit I did then turn it over for a nice profit (pretendining they don't know) on ebay.

anyway it you got it cheap, plug it in and see how it sounds. It won't sound like a shure, but it might sound good.
