Shure SM57 or (SM57LC)?

Is the Shure SM57LC (written on the box) the same SM57 everyone knows and loves?

The guys at guitar Center and Sam Ash say they're one and the same!

Does "LC" stand for "limited capability," or does it mean nothing?

Less Cable--meaning you supply your own cable. They're exactly the same.

YES. Some mikes come supplied with their own cables. But the 1's that are sold w/o usually
are to sometimes benefit the manufacturer
so they can make mo'money!
