Come on, am I the only guy on the planet to use these mics. Look like a 57 but are shiny silver. I have picked up a stack of these over the years for dirt cheap and use them for drum mics. Sound good to me. I tested them against a 57 and can't tell a great difference. I have always been curious if they are actually a different looking 57. Anyody know the background info on these mics?
By the way, there are good uses for these cheap Nady dynamic mics. I have been loaning my PA (rarely used cheesey Peavey mixer amp) to a local band that I want to record. In order not to loan my decent mics out, I just got a three pack of the Nady mics for $60. Go ahead, apply all the lip funk you want. At $19.95 I'll just buy some more!!!
