Nice...no hi-hat?...or am I missing something. I am getting old ya know. :D

I think its interesting to see how other people set up their kits. Sometimes I'm like WTF are they thinking? But its all personal taste. To me, thats a weird spot for a kick-turned-floor-tom, but whatever works. :)

And here they are

Interesting set-up you've got. Really big around floor-tom next to the snare is cool. I used to do that until I decided it was too much of a hassle to have so many drums ;-).
You've got the hats over by the floor toms, right?
Cool kit. Here's mine, an older (80s?) Tama Swingstar set with a wide mix of cymbals (including a pair of amazing-sounding vintage Zildjians).

Four-piece set-up for my current project:

Damn, how do you get behind that thing? :D

Well, it's not easy... I usually have to climb over a keyboard case, table, and piles of shoes and toy keyboards (being circuit-bend) to get to the throne, and then I have to clear away guitar stands, mic stands, and various hardware to find some sticks and headphones.

Hahaha yeah. Mine aren't done any justice either -- they're in a 10X10 plaster room with a 7.5' ceiling.

Actually they sound really good in my garage it's 900 square feet and it really let's them breath!! The sound so very "Bonham" very full yet distinct, and also I have two sets of hi hats one permantly closed the other just slightly open I never learned to play the "right way" hell the first two years I played I never even used or thought about hi hats, lol, so I never learned to use my left foot in that capacity, it's just always been double bass, but I think after we go to studio this weekend I'm gonna put another set of hats on the left side and start using my foot like that, should be easy to pick up ,I hope. I have three extra sets of hats and another stand to use.

Mine are an old set of swingstars from 1983.

shitttt i have the same ones .. same color and everything

do you still have the heads that came with it on??

i replaced mine immediatley after i got my kit

or wait.. maybe those are aquarians? or evans?

oh and i got a different splash today. the one on my kit is a Zildjian 10" A splash, which i bought at a local music store used for a good price, but at the same time i had placed a bid on ebay for a Paiste 802 10" splash, not expecting to win, but i did! so the Paiste got here today, and i actually like it better! it's a little less dry, although has longer decay time, i think i prefer the Paiste for now...i'm gonna try and sell the Zildjian to my cousin!

i have paiste hats and a signature full crash

i LOVE the crash

i LIKE the hats
