Should the Audiophile 2496 be my next card?

I have decided to upgrade my computer with a new sound card. I currently have an Audigy 2 Platinum but the front face plate doesn't fit into my new computer. I hear good things about this card. Is this my best choice? I have also considered the M-Audio 410 as well. Any suggestions would help me greatly.

24/96 is a great card to start with, it will give you great quality for a good price, ive been using my 24/96 for about 2 years now, and last year i picked up a delta 44 which is a great compliment to the 24/96
ive never had any problems with driver updates, or my main 2 programs that i use, Acid 4 pro, and wavelab

if your willin to shell out some more bucks you can get this that totally pisses all over the audiophile. i'm refering to the lynx ONe...the lynxtwo shits on the audiophile too...

Audiophile 24/96

I bought this card about a year ago after hearing nothing but good reports about it on this site. I don't know a great deal about recording but have picked up the basics and compared to the card i had, well, this one just blows it away. I am happy with this card, for me it was a good buy.
