Should i use my ART Tube MP?...

AKG C3000(a)
ART Tube MP
MOTU 828MKII
Various Plugins
PC; AMD 64 Athlon 3500+
Question is should i still use my Tube mp with the 828 or just use a plugin instead?

I use one occasionally as a Bass DI for Live-Off-The-Floor stuff, but as a mic pre, it's pretty awful!
