should i use condensor mics for recording drums

what kind of mic is best for recording drums, or just tell me all the diffrent kinds of mics and what there good for

There is no best, but yes, you can use condensors...Usually on over heads, but no rule says you can't use them on idivivdual drums, though I never have.

Yeah right. You're joking right???? Would you like me to mail you brochures from every company and check the prices and the shipping, too? Maybe I'll rent every kind of mic there is and spend a week end at your place hooking you up so you can listen before you tell me which ones to return. :eek: :eek: :eek:
