Should I rearrange/rerecord this?

Yeah!! Tune 88 was the one I was thinking!! Galaxian was a good LP. Damn, where did I put that "tape"??
Hey check out Soft Space...if you have it, Katherine is a killer.
I would suggest to try to record it again. Just to see how "the band" interprets the tune. Ya never know what can happen. Maybe some impromtu magic can happen. Not that what you have done allready is lacking.

It's actually an amalgam of ideas and flavors from what I consider the seminal funk/fusion album; Wizard Island... with a little dash of Tune 88 from Water Sign thrown in for good measure, and a nod tot he Galaxian album too. Tune 88 is the best 12-bar I ever heard. I'll have to check out Cliff Sarde... Thanks for the tip!! :)

Alec,
Thanks man! I had no idea at the time that it was as good as it is looknig back on it...

I have Soft Space. Katherine is one of my very favorites. :) He reworked that very tune a few years back, the redo is very sweet; it's one of the reasons I was thinking of this in the first place.. :) It's more like modern "smooth jazz", but still Lorberesque...

Galaxian has never been in print in the US on CD. What I'd do for that to happen...

Easy Goin' is just dandy. :)

I was listening to it the other day and ventured off to other places and forgot to come back and say, I really like it. :)

Listening again. Pretty cool bass level especially for a time when most rock bands didn't believe in having a bass player. Just like GnR. :) Don't let rock 'n roll hijack this thread, tho. Let's get back to the topic. :)

Thoughts To Myself sound pretty cool, too. Listening now. :)

Cool! :)

Thanks dude! I love the fact that I'm still playing that very bass today, almost 21 years later!!

I can play/put down some jazz/blues guitar for this if you wish if you can't get the original guitarist and am going to consider doing it again. Where are you based? Lovely track.

EDIT: Ok, so you're based in the US. Well you can send me the wavs when you do re-cord it, and I can put down guitar in my studio at home (if you like).

Ben.

Thanks for the offer, man! :) When I get that far into the project, I will definitely consider it!

(But, you got me thinking abot the original guitarist, I wonder if I *could* strong-arm him into playing... hmm.. :D )
