okay...many thanks for the mixed views and opinions....now I am even more confused than before....

why?

The only question to answer is do you want to put a band together?
The lyrics of one particular song you're written have absolutely nothing to do with answering that question. In fact, the lyrics of every song you've ever written have nothing to do with that decision.

Do you want a band? Then put one together.

I just woke up (it's 6 am here)... should I have some coffee?

C'mon, guys, what do you think?

alright...why "the wordsmiths"?

I was caught in a lighthearted moment of playful word associations.
Firstly, you asked if you should put together a band on the strength of the lyrics which are words. And there was a famous band called The Smiths who are still pretty legendary in the UK.
This thread struck me as interesting but also a little bizarre because I can't really see how any of our opinions, yea or nay, can help you.
But then, what do I know ?

I certainly don't want you to fail. And I can think of alot more worse names than The Wordsmiths !! :D

There again, they "might" not be.

Definitely not today dinty... bad day for coffee.

Check in again tomorrow, same time, and I'll let you know...:D

I own a couch and a fridge. Should I put a band together????

It depends on if the couch is light or dark coloured. Leather or fabric? 2 seat or 3 seat?

And what about the fridge? White or stainless steel? One or two door?

This is just typical... you people all want yer lives sorted out but you never give enough information in yer posts...

Anyway... if your couch is light coloured and leather, and is a 3 seater, then yes, definitely put a band together. If it's a two seater, then ask again next week, but only if the moon is rising in your sign. Maybe.

If your couch is dark coloured and fabric, then this is not a good time, write a novel instead - dark coloured and leather then form a band but no more than 3 members, and make sure you're the only songwriter.

Of course, if you only have a one door fridge, none of this applies - pursue a higher paying job until you can afford a decent fridge is my advice.

Clear?

BTW, if your TV is LCD, then probably today is a good time to plant a garden. If it's plasma then you need to call up the power company and negotiate a discount on your rate And if it's cathode ray then isn't it about time you got with the program and upgraded?

Please provide all the correct information next time!!!! :spank:

No fair on the edit Rami...

It's hard enough as it is...

Keep the midget fresh in the fridge after you've finished with him...
