Should I go all digital ?

I have been rolling this over and over in my head.
Here is my current setup.

Behringer MX3282
Motu 2408
Steinberg Houston
DAW- Nuendo

I never use the analog board to mixdown. What I would like to accomplish is having another 8 channels for a total of 16 to record to at the same time. Would it be better to add another Motu 2408 and get another board that has direct outs that I could control using the faders ?

The digital option is to go to a Yamaha O2R. From what I understand I would need at least one expansion card to accomplish 16 channels. Am I wrong ?

You can get 16 outs from that board can't you? Even if you have to use the the inserts, you have trim control. Just get another 2408
