should i get a mixing board?

Here is my setup...I have a roland vs-1880 synced to mycomputer with an m-audio2496 and i have a ber miniamp 800 as my headphone amp. my problem is that i hate pushing all the buttons on the 1880, i want to make mixing and compressing an easier task (is there other setup options i can take to make these things easier, like a mixing board (if so whats a good one) or out board compressor...let me know
