Short Intro

Hey guys, I've recorded an intro for my podcast.

The song is the first called adblog intro.

Can you guys check it out and see what it needs? i have mixed to perfection on my speakers, but they aren't monitors. I've exhausted all my headphones, and it sounds pretty good.

I'm wondering what the high end and low end sound like on different types of speakers.

sounds great on my pc speakers, can't wait to hear the rest of the song.
(my monitors are tempararaly out of service along with the rest of my studio due to a recent basement flood :) )
 
Thanks for the feedback. There probably won't be any more to the song, as this is only going to be used for a podcast intro.

On headphones here Sean, the top end of the guitar sounds a bit harsh. You might be able to sweep somewhere in the 3-5K area and make a little cut. Bass sounds good from here
 
I was listening today, and thought that might be the case. However, when listened to at lower levels, it seems to sound pretty good.

That seems to happen to all my mixes. At low volumes they sound great, but once I turn them up, the whole mid range melds together and becomes harsh. Any ideas on this?
