Shopping for a new preamp?

I was especially taken with the Avalon 5, but that might be aways down the road. Here is a shopping list for those in the market:

Its not, but I found a B1 at a used music store that is going out of business...The guy wouldn't let me try it out, but he said he would knock off quite a bit if I was interested.

I was currious how the compressor stacks up to other Meek stuff.
