I've been hearing AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill" on the radio quite a bit over the past couple of months around here.

I find it holds up alot better than most anything else I hear on the radio...especially more recent/modern recordings.

What catches my ear is how brutal, punchy, clear and smooth the drums and guitars are. With howling vocals, it's like beautifully crafted/recorded volcanic, rock eruption.

Anyone have any insight into the recording of this song?

-thanks,

yeah, some Mutt Lange guy had something to do with it.
Shagfu, I noticed your in Mesa. Have you had a chance to see TNT? My buddy is in the band, they're an AC/DC tribute band. Alot of times when they're playing in town, the sponsering radio station seems to play alot of AC/DC.
