A few weeks back, the drummer and I were in the rehearsal studio. After a few hours of practice, we were just sitting there with the lights low, talking about the days work. We started diddling around with some chords, and forgot that we had the DAW in record mode.
I was super happy to hear what we capture from this improv. I'd love to hear your thoughts. For just a rough recording, I am very happy with it.
The drum kit was mic'ed with a mic on each drum using a drum mic kit. I am not sure of the models, but they are all basically 57's, and two overheads. There was a PG57 on my guitar amp, close mic'ed on the edge of the cone.
