I like the guitar tone...fits the tune well. I would always love to hear more, nastier, and dirtier guitars....but you've heard my music. :D That's just what I like.

So give it a lizzen....

I re-did the guitars to this and worked on the guitar sound more than I usually do (but always should have). I think I got rid of the buzzy "direct" sound I was getting, even though I was miking my amp. Hope the guitars sound a little fuller and warmer...and any other issues you might hear with the mix is always appreciated....thanx

(EDIT: I think the cymbals are a little loud, which is just a matter of turning down the overheads)

HOLE IN THE SKY

Hey RAMI,

I love it, great mix, great sounding guitars, overall excellent tune, nice drumming and I like the stops as well!

I feel the guitar solo could take this tune on a little more of a ride, but hey it works.

Great stuff RAMI!

Gorty :)

Nak and Dog......Cool, man. If you guys can live with the guitar, so can I.

Gorty, thanx alot for the listen and the comments. As far as the solo is concerned, I agree with you. I'm a little limited on the guit, so I just try to not sound stupid when I "solo"...hehe.

You have done very well on this tune RAMI.

I am using your recordings as a benchmark!

RayC, Brandrum, Variaxman, Snakedog and JeffLancaster.Thanx for all the comments. I'm really glad I got some approval on the guitar sound. Someone did tell me that they are a little tame and can use some more distortion. I made sure to follow the advice of many people and articles that say "Put a little less distortion than you think you need, especially if doubling tracks." I might have ovedone the "not too much distortion". But, anyway, I'm happy enough to keep it for now. Thanx alot!!!

I've actually never heard that saying. I really never knew before there was anything but "MAX" on the distortion knob :D Lately I've been cutting back in songs though, so maybe there's some wisdom in that. Anyway, rock out RAM dawg, love the new guitar sound :D

Hey Gorty...thanx alot, man. You're using my songs as a benchmark? Ever thought of setting higher standards in life??? :) hehe...Thank you bro.

Snaker, yeah that's what they say...Then again, they say alot of things...I don't even know who they are....They say too many things, man. I wish they'd just shut up...I hate them.

Well, what can you say man... they are they, and they do what they do, cause that's what they do.

Damn, RAMI. Really good.

You're music is always so very tight. And I mean that not in the current slang way, but in the musical way: every instument is played precisely and in perfect time.

Guitars sound excellent. Mix is great. Song is great. I don't think I heard any earlier incarnation of this one (can't get to them all with dial-up :( )

Well, there's nothing to fix on this, cause it ain't broke!!! Nice work.

This is an improvement.

I have to really give you credit for wringing so much quality from those budget mics. We could never make C1000s sound so good.

Fantastic job with the OHs, RAMI.

Hey thanx Super......I like my C1000's...Probably because I'm used to them. I probably wouldn't know how to make better mics sound better. :)
