shipping in Spring/Summer

I know heat can be bad for instrument woods, especially leaving a guitar or
bass in your car or something like that.

I am thinking about getting an electric guitar online, but it would have to be shipped from Mississippi to California-- would this potentially ruin the wood or damage the guitar, or is this nothing to be concerned about? Let me know of your good and bad experiences.

Trust me..... that wood has been through a lot worse than a 3 day UPS shipment already!

I always avoid any orders that might have a weekend stay-over in some hot warehouse. Order on a Monday or pay for the 2 day air.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Expect the guitar to need setup, but that is typical for any guitar you buy.
